TRALLWM 1-1 PENGELLI

Match Report by Justin Griffiths

Today Pengelli came to the zoo looking for a repeat performance shown up in Pengelli, where Trallwm lost 2-1, whilst Trallwm were looking to maintain their fantastic home record of losing just once at home all season. They were going to be no pushovers and this game was always going to be a tough battle from both teams and produce entertainment to the support of both teams, with Pengelli piling on the pressure in 2nd place they didn't show any ability or determination to see Trallwm out.

With just 15 minutes gone, a great ball by Paul Wright was latched on to Chris Norrie who couldnt keep his shot down. This game was going to be a battle of midfield with all players from both teams showing a lot of effort to get points in the bag. The game eventually started to turn out to be a physical game with Trallwm showing strength and aggression to get the three points. 25 minutes gone and a very good save by Matthew Bowen prevented Pengelli from taking the lead. 30 minutes gone and an awkward fall from Dale Rees reduced Trallwm side down to 10 men for 2 minutes then his mother decided that Dale was too unwell to rejoin the Tigers. Up steps substitute Justin Griffiths, Trallwm joint top goalscorer along with Dale. Justin came on and was always in the thick of the action by taking it in the box with a low drive across saw Mathew Morris blasting the ball over into the Royal Oak.

At half time we had a good talking to by our manager Big Rich, which saw the boys come out with a different attitude towards the game. Midway through the second half Pengelli finally broke through our defence and made no mistake. Now trailing 1-0 things got from bad to worst when Timothy Dawe had to leave us, which left us in a big pile of shit. The game was slipping away from the Tigers when Lee Jackson (Herman) got us boys going by cheering us on. Now the Pengelli nerves were starting to show as Trallwm piled on the pressure. A Paul Wright special nearly assisted James Williams with the equaliser but he couldnt keep it down.

Justins marker was like a fly around shit throughout the game until the last 5 minutes saw a goal to dream of by Justin, it was out of the blue as he just dipped it over the keeper from 30 yards out (WHO NEEDS RONALDHINIO WHEN JUSTIN'S AROUND)

OBVIOUSLY THIS WAS A GREAT POINT FOR TRALLWM. All the members of Trallwm FC send their regards out to Pengelli goalkeeper who will surely have nightmares.
